OUR STORY

After many years of being an outdoor enthusiast, Mark Strunk’s desire to fish professionally began to grow. In 2021, he began to fish the Pro Division of Crappie USA, American Crappie Trail, and Indiana Slab Masters. At the same time his dream to create a company that caters to the fishing enthusiast and provide them with high quality clothing and fishing gear also began grow.

The dream became a reality in April of 2022 when Black Speck Fishing & Tackle Co, LLC was launched by Mark Strunk. Mark wants his story to inspire others to pursue their dream and to know that with hard work and perseverance that dream can become a reality. 

The photos below are of their journey, they reflect the beauty of nature, their family, and the friends they made along the way.  They are a very humbling reflection of the many ways God blessed their lives as they pursued this dream.
